Autumn Tag!

I am back everyone! I have been nominated by the wonderful Niamh to do the Autumn Tag! We all know I am an autumn fairy, so I just couldn’t resist! Here we go!

What signifies the start of Autumn for you?

This is honestly a hard one! Autumn for me is cracking out my grandad jumpers, seeing your breath in the morning, dragon style. It is Uni starting back and once again finding my balance in life (which I was struggling with last week). It is the lead up to christmas and when all the wonderful warm candles are lit and the mulled wine comes out and it is just the most magical time of the year!

What is your favourite Autumn scent?

I love warm scents come autumn time. I put away my coconut from summer and replace it with the apple ciders and white musks. At the moment I have been burning a limited edition collection of Yankee candles and Amaretto Apple has my heart in its warm autumnal hands.

What is your favourite Autumn scent?

Orange, all the orange.

Are you a fan of a PSL (pumpkin spice latte)?

I am more of a hot chocolate girl than a latte girl, also more of a costa girl than a starbucks girl.
What is your favourite Autumn drink? This year it has got to be Costa with their Bonfire Hot Chocolate! It is so warm and is topped with cinnamon, it’s just like a big hug from the autumn fairy herself.

Apple pie or Pumpkin pie?

Apple pie, although I would rather do apple crumble, with lots of custard.

What TV show, new or old are you looking forward to in the next few months?

Honestly, I was hyped for the second season of Big Mouth on Netflix and it definitely delivered. But also, I cannot wait to go home at Christmas and binge watch A Discovery of Witches with my mum!

What is your favourite Autumn fashion trend?

I love tartan and plaid, but I also am loving jumper dresses this autumn. They are so slouchy and comfy. If anyone can recommend me a cute mustard or orange jumper dress, I am yours forever.

What is your favourite comfort food to enjoy in the colder months?
A nice stew, cooked in the slow cooker!

What is your favourite Autumn activity?

Staying in for a cuddly movie night, or apple picking!

Are you a fan of horror movies?

Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon are two of my favourite movies. Anthony Hopkins is a legend!

Do you ever do anything fun for Halloween?

The last couple of years I have gone out clubbing for Halloween. But this year, I am going to turn on a scary movie and stay in, maybe cuddled up with someone special, maybe cuddled up with my stuffed sloth, Jerome.

What was your favourite part about Halloween as a child?

I loved dressing up and getting to go trick or treating around my village. Of course, the sweets were great, but the fun of feeling like you were scaring adults always seemed so exciting to me.

Are you a bigger fan of Bonfire night or Halloween?

I think this year will be the year of bonfire night! I love Halloween, but bonfire night is so wholesome, if you forget about what you’re celebrating!

Where is your dream destination to visit in the Autumn?

I really want to go to Dublin. I have wanted to go to Dublin for the longest time and I think it would be so pretty in autumn.

Do you always forget about the clocks going back?

Wait, when is it?

When do you usually start preparing for Christmas?

Once Halloween is all done and dusted, I’m going to thaw out Michael BublĂ© and put my fairy lights up. But, true Christmas festivities are going to wait until the 22nd of December for me this year, when my mum comes up to London to watch the ballet!

This was super fun! I love autumn and I hope you got to know me a little better through this post.
