I believe in Happiness!

Hi guys, so I’m back! Thank you for letting me have my break, it was wonderful. But it feels great to come back to you with this blog post!

So recently, I have been going on a bit of a journey in my life. I spoke about finding faith last time, and that really has changed my life. I believe I have more faith in the planet’s energy and the potential energy of the universe, than a God persay. But, knowing that there is something that is bigger than me has given me so much comfort.

But, this change inspired a kind of realisation for me. Before, I had been bitter and nasty. I had been trying to win points with people, and my soul was not pure. But, recently, I have realised that the only way to be truly happy, to truly be at peace, is to emanate happiness.

Now, let me explain this. In a city like London, there are is a lot of lack of empathy going around. A lot of straight faces, a lot of people not caring. The minute that I started to break that mould, my whole life changed. Smiling to people who you catch eye contact with, even if they don’t smile back. Having the courage to smile to yourself, maybe about a song that you’re listening to, or a book that you are reading.

But more than just smiling, it is changing your whole aura to radiate positivity. Of course, we can’t be happy all of the time. But I have noticed such a change in the way that I live, and the way that I am greeted by the world by radiating this happiness.

I guess you might be wondering: where did you get this happiness from? Well, all that it took for me, was to look around and realise how lucky I am. I live in a wonderful city, I work and study, doing something I love. I have enough money to live comfortably and save. I have hobbies and pastimes that I love, I have friends who genuinely care about me. Now, these are things that a lot of us take for granted, having a roof over our heads, or being employed. But, when you think of how much these things benefit your life, how can you be anything but happy?

I understand that not everyone has these things. But, what I would say to those people is look for the things that do make you happy. Of course, we all have things in our life that cause stress, and we can’t get away from that. But recognising the good things and changing your mindset to happiness will honestly change the whole game.

Because once you realise that this life is about the pursuit of happiness, instead of money or popularity, the pressure is taken off, and those things come naturally.

I am on my journey now, and I would never go back! I ask you to please, look around your life and find the happiness and then project that into the world. Because I believe if we all did this, then we would have a far happier world.

Let me know the things you are grateful for in your life!

Until next time,
Stay peachy,
Paige xx
