Autumn is Here!

I don’t care what people say, there has been the first chill in London, so I am calling it officially Autumn! I know people want to hold onto this extra hot, extra long summer. But, honestly, I am kicking it out of my life and replacing it with seasonal coffees and jumpers.

Now, I have been gone for a little while and it because I have been a little under the weather, literally. This heat has just made everything that little bit worse. Because, not only are you annoyed, you are sweaty. So, it was not the best time to do manual labour, but your girl needed furniture!

But, with the first chill of the season come, I am up and ready to become my little coffee drinking, jumper wearing, headbow making, christmas anticipating self.

When I was younger, I used to love summer, I would wait to wear little dresses and lay out in the sun all day and I think that is what has changed. Having two jobs in the heat isn’t as fun as being able to lay out in the garden all day. So, I am proud to now say that, as a working girl, I am an autumn girl.

I wanted to come here, to pretty much give you an anticipation post for all of the things I am going to do this autumn! Also, this is a kind of promise to myself, and my followers, for content, so keep me to it, guys.

First of all, I want to cook, and bake and just become better at the homemaking arts. I want to master the pumpkin pie and make slow cooked meals all the time. Because Autumn and winter comfort food is actually the best food.

I would like to go to a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, I want to go and take insta pics in the forest, but most of all, I want to cuddle up, with a blanket and watch movies and write and be a little homey grandma, surrounding by fairy lights.

I also cannot wait to be able to wear a face of makeup without it melting off of my skin. I want to pin curl my hair more often and wear dark berry lipsticks and just enjoy the autumnal tones this season.

So, yes, I am very excited. I am looking forward to every element of this season, including heading back to uni, believe it or not - where my studious girls and boys at! And I want to be grateful and thankful for everything that I have and everything that I have done this year, that has blessed and improved my life.

So, I am afraid, no more summer posts from me. We are going full blown autumn, and I love it!

Let me know which season is your favourite!

Until next time,

Stay peachy,
Paige xx
